In 2005, Albion Fisheries’ newest division was opened in Queen Charlotte located in the fishing paradise of Haida Gwaii, British Columbia. Haida Gwaii is an archipelago located just south of the Alaskan panhandle and directly west of Northern BC across the Hecate Straight. The islands are easily accessible by plane into Sandspit, boat into Charlotte or Masset, or BC Ferry into Skidegate Inlet.

Renowned for its stellar natural beauty both on and off the water, Haida Gwaii also boasts of culture, art, and renowned island generosity.

Although it is Albion’s most remote and smallest location, the motto of “helping our customers succeed with seafood” still stands.

The facility, located on the government wharf in the heart of Queen Charlotte, allows for accessible and efficient off loading of commercial fishing vessels. Albion Fisheries QCI plays the role of purchaser, custom processor, or custom off loader for a variety of fisheries that exist in local waters.
